I guess Daddy having a sleepover with Kate just might work. I hope Sophie is getting the help she needs and not just relying on sedatives.

Very good chapter in relation to them moving forward but very tough for poor Sophie. Now Kate gets to go to work on no sleep. She probably has done it before but it still is not a good thing given her job.

I thought for the most part this again was a really good chapter. The talk with Kate and Lanie was good and I really liked the book Alexis made for him when she was a little girl with the exception of Rick stealing a police horse and riding him naked in Central Park after drinking too much alcohol just because he was sad. I realize this is part of Rick's history but I doubt Alexis would have been aware of it at that young age. The talk between Sophie and Rick about his being her father went very well. Somewhere in the future when Sophie is less innocent" because of her past situation" that may be revisited.

Very good chapter but I am not so sure a therapist would be hitting on Rick that way. It does not seem very professional. I can understand Kate wanting to be with Rick but Sophie in his bed may prevent that from happening for quite a while.

Very good chapter. It touches you at how curious Sophie is and how now that she has discovered them loves books. It also hurts to find out she doesn't know what school is and draws like a 2 year old. She will definitely need some specialized training.

This was very good and quite emotional. In spite of everything that has happened they managed to cover quite a bit of ground and advance their relationship. Poor Sophie with her awful nightmare.

Sophie's background seems so heartbreaking. Rick's family is handling the news very well but there really is not much of a choice. I would think they may all need therapy at some point.

I just started this and have been enjoying it so far. Very interesting premise and I already feel bad for Sophie for what she has probably already gone through. Rick really is taking this very well unless he is just in shock right now.
