Enjoyed this chapter. Was just a little confused because the little one was named Bailey, but the name suddenly changed to Penny later on.

"She took her time getting dressed, delaying the process to the point she was just standing there in her underwear waiting to [hear] the bathroom door open and for Ruby to start showering."

Whoa, whoa Weiss. Are you same person whom tried covering up from Ruby three days ago or does Miss Schnee perhaps have an exhibitionist side we haven't seen till now? However, I could be reading into it too much and she just wants to pick out an outfit with Ruby. Why can't it be both?!

As for next chapter, I am interested to see Ruby's POV. What inspired her to suddenly hug Weiss?! I have a theory, ever notice that red is only present on Ruby's outerwear (cloak, hair tips, sleeves of her blouse, skirt hemline, tops of boots). Red maybe a representation of her happy façade while black maybe apathy of Summer's disappearance. Can Weiss of all people pull Ruby out of this by her doing something Yang or Blake wouldn't duo to her bossy attitude?

Aww, poor Ruby. Now I understand why, at least in part, this section's called Squall.

I like how you show Weiss's prejudice against faunus while still keeping her... her. All too often, authors use a prejudice to label someone as irredeemably evil, to the point where it's treated as worse than having literally committed murder.

Well, Emerald's getting along... kind of?

Can't wait to see the next. Though I can't lie, I'm sort of dreading Sad Ruby PoV.

I really enjoyed reading this chapter, because it flips the usual dynamic between Weiss and Ruby, and now Weiss has to be the shining light.

I can't wait for the next chapter! It'll be interesting to see what Ruby is like when she can't drown out her issues, as she's done throughout the story.

Weiss, stop being so salty! Ruby laying down her head on your bicep is her form of cuddling and I think its cute! Weiss, you are same person who literally laid her legs on top of Ruby's thighs to keep her planted on couch.

Poor Ruby. Yeah, cool fighting moves come from understandig them, and that requires understanding how Aura works. It's not easy to pool these cool moves. Fortunately, Weiss is there to help her.

Please tell me Yang pranks Weiss with Blake in on it?!

I just binged this; interesting story! I like how the antagonists have more depth. My favorite thing is the revised lore. I do wish the pacing was a little faster. My issue is that a lot of the interesting stuff only happens in the chapters without Team RWBY (the ones for Roman, Watts, Glynda). Team RWBY feels disconnected because so much time is spent focusing on their regular everyday life.

Weiss still develops because of her interactions with the other characters, but it's Ruby in particular suffers for this, because the interesting aspects of her personality don't appear until she's put in bad situations. Her innocence is cute, but is a but too much after so many chapters. Unless that's some hint to indicate that her cheeriness is forced, as I have seen subtle hints that she blocks out her issues. I'd just like to see what's beneath that cheer, but her team won't bring that out because they avoid talking about difficult topics to her.

I really like this and hope the writer will continue!
