This is beautiful. In every way. And perfect. It gave me the closure I needed, and even though it is heartbreaking, it is so much more. The 'Butch' I caught as well when I forced myself to at least watch the last five minutes of the episode. I wondered briefly if George Eades added that himself. Either way, I thought it a great addition, and a glimpse at what we weren't allowed to see. I still hold a grudge against Nancy Kiu, the writer of this episode-lol. Because I have not liked any episode she wrote and I feel as fans she cheated us on the Mac and Jack moment. I don't want to believe she did that on purpose, but why only give us an 'idea' of what might have happened at Jack's apartment. Why not that hug? But your explanation was perfect, and very 'Mac'. Thank you so much for sharing it. Please keep writing these guys. You do them justice.

Love this perspective of Jack leaving. I agree that it was ‘not in character’ to have Jack leave without hugging Mac - even a ‘man-hug.’ This is great.

Loved there thoughts. Was sad about the lack of Mac and Jack in the episode. But it kinda made sense to have a not so emotion good bye .
I just hope just b/c Jack knows and trust this girl to be Mac's new Over watch. They don't have her click with all of them right away and make it like she part of there little family and has been with them all long ..
