Just wait 'till they find out fairies exist... jk. Jokes aside, this really hit the feels. If someone watched me read this they would probably think I was about to cry. Which I almost did. It's sad and I love it. Once again, great work. *clap clap* btwangry fairies have entered the chat*
GreenEggandHam chapter 6 . 10/16/2019

Riyazura chapter 1 . 8/25/2019
Hi! I read this story when it first came out, but since I haven't made myself a FFN account till now, I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this story! My favorite part was the battle between Link and Naydra! Fantastically written! This story was well-described and engaging until the end. The ending I also thought was very sweet; I need more floof like this! u
Sorry if this is a hastily-written review, but I just wanted to say you became one of my favorite authors on FFN after I stumbled across your BotW fics, so thank you for inspiring me!
midnaisbae chapter 6 . 4/2/2019
Besides Zelda, who else will tell Link that Ganon is a stubborn bastard who will stop at nothing until the Triforce is his? Remember, Link might do this for Zelda but Zelda does this for Hyrule. What was it that Hylia's incarnation said after admitting she "used" him?, "This is war, Link". Besides, they act as if he's the only one that suffered. Forget about holding back the Calamity for a century just so Link could heal, forget about losing and remembering everyone who died, clearly Link's suffering trumps anyone else's. That's just absolutely rich coming from Paya. Someone who didn't live through the Age of Burning Fields and grew up sheltered in Kakariko. Someone who broke down and had to rely on Link (like 9 out of 10 Hyruleans) to retrieve their treasure when everything when to shit. Well, when Ganon shat on them 100 years ago it's a good thing Zelda didn't do a Paya. She fought for her kingdom and her man instead of bawling on the floor feeling sorry for herself. Then she goes on to rebuild her kingdom after fighting Ganon. So self-centered isn't she? /s

You know, at the end of the day, the Princess can't choose the easy path. Link should know too. The Hero's spirit loved Hylia's land as much as the Goddess herself. If it's for the good of Hyrule then you achieve it at all cost.

i love it when a short story can hit me in the feels and this one definitely did, very well done :D
S. A. Morley chapter 4 . 3/4/2019
Holy cannoli, did this chapter HURT! My body aches for Link (I can't even imagine the pain he's in! Poor guy!), my heart aches for Zelda and her guilt (I'm pretty sure I'd crumble from the guilt of asking so much of Link), and man, did everything else just follow suit. I was NOT expecting Paya to come forward at the end to defend Link. She's right - hardly anyone stands up for him. Although I feel Paya could have worded it more nicely, I agree. Zelda asked a lot of the poor guy. A bit too much. I'm just grateful Zelda realizes that and that she isn't waving it off. She's bigger than that. More mature. And you captured her thought process in such a relatable, a-ha moment way. Dang, you're good.

I will say, too, that I found the science behind all of this intriguing! I often pass off the Sheikah tech as just being cool blinky lights and lasers, but they really had a treasure trove of knowledge that they had to leave behind. I'm just grateful it's being used for Link's sake! The blood transfusion was such a fascinating idea in the Zelda universe, and I especially loved the tidbit about Rhoam using the procedure as a last-ditch effort to save his queen. Such a great touch, Bookworms!

Seriously, you astound me. I love this story. I love how gut-wrenchingly real and high-stakes it is. I love how I start to shake when I think of Zelda's mental processes and how my bones ache at the thought of Link's injuries. You are so talented, and I am very thankful I found you, and your amazing work.

Keep it up, friend! You're very inspiring!

I FINALLY HAVE THE TIME TO REVIEW! YASSSS!

Ahem, sorry. Good golly, has this chapter been haunting me - but in a good way! I haven't been able to get the image of Link at the end of Zelda's flashback out of my head. It caught me so off-guard! His reiteration that he'd do anything for her - break his own bones, lie in his own blood - and then it HAPPENS in front of her as a nightmare. I knew it would keep ME up at night if I'd seen it! Excellent twist, there. I genuinely was not expecting it. It's lingered in my mind for so long! Bravo!

As for the rest, I can only applaud. You capture Zelda so gorgeously it makes me love her even more. You give her this warmth, this genuine kindness and sweetness that feels so real. She cares for Link so deeply it's breathtaking. I LOVE it. You couldn't have written her any better! And her reaction to finding Link, bloodied on the ground, and her rush for him. Dang. Double dang, my friend. You really know how to play my heartstrings like a harp.

I'm excited to binge-read the following chapters. :) Thank you so much for sharing this story on here! I love it! :D

AriTheDoggo chapter 6 . 2/28/2019
Now THAT's an ending! (where the heck is that line from, anyway?)

...Yup, I'm definitely an oblivious version of Purah. YAY!

I loved this story, and I'm definitely look forward to more work for you! Do you ever get that feeling when an incredible story is over? You know the one where you're like "nothing will ever be as good as this." I had that with Harry Potter and read the series eight times in a row. Did I just compare this story to Harry Potter? I did! Fight me!

Keep up the amazing work! :D
aso083 chapter 6 . 2/28/2019
This was so bittersweet! It ended well, but at the same time, Link has lost his voice. I didn't like that, but it was probably necessary for the story. And it also shows that Zelda has developed, because she loves him even though he can't speak anymore. Actually, the character development was the most noticeable in Zelda in this story. I liked that.

All in all, a nice story to read in the last month of winter!
AriTheDoggo chapter 5 . 2/24/2019
Hmm... so is Zellie going to look into fixing Link's voice? Is THAT what that last line is suggesting? HMMMMM?

Hahaha, Imma go cry some more now XD

I LOVE this story! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! I'm looking forward to the next chapter with great... ANTICIPATION! :D
ElizabethV3 chapter 1 . 2/22/2019
Great
AriTheDoggo chapter 4 . 2/19/2019
I'm supposed to be cleaning, but right when I was about to do so, I saw this pop up in my notifications. There was a lot of jumping and screaming in my head.

Wow, I didn't expect PAYA to come in. I also did NOT see what she said coming. I would be rooting for Paya here... if Zelda wasn't already guilt ridden. Because OUCH. Words hurt.

And, of course, it has been extended a part! Next week is too far away! I need to invent time travel, already! It's been on my bucket list for a while.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! :D

...Imma go cry now!
AriTheDoggo chapter 3 . 2/14/2019
Welp, reality had to hit sooner or later. But it's a bit TOO late XD

When I saw this in my notifications, I was SO happy! I just had to walk home in a BLIZZARD. It's getting really bad outside. Then I remembered that this was being updated today, and that just made me even MORE rushed to get home.

When Zelda started thinking about how she had realized how human Link is, Christina Peri's "Human" came on. It seemed WAY too fitting! Like, SCARY fitting! *Scream*

I actually used to consider Valentine's Day as Single's Awareness Day, but apparently that's actually Feb. 15! Huh. I think it's more fitting to do it on Valentine's Day, but whoever makes the national holidays didn't agree.

I'M SUPER EXCITED FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! :D
