the premise of this is interesting, but the execution fells like a fraction of the skill you've demonstrated with 12 steps. it just doesn't feel up to the expectations i had after reading your 12 steps effort.
conceptually hooked, but it will only last if the world depth is better constructed. starting with forcing canon that doesn't make sense. katsuki called izuku deko because he was quirkless and wouldn't find a more realistic dream to chase. bakugo didn't call any other kids deku even if their quirks weren't particularly impressive. the deku thing just doesn't work here. I'd expect him to classify izuku under his 'side character' label instead of hating izuku for seemingly demeaning his goal by associating izuku and his own potential as being the same when only act of god (or shounen tropey plot armor, since milio is by every measurement a better OFA candidate than izuku) could possibly make izuku competitive with bakugo.
It always bothers me when authors fundamentally change izuku, even give him a powerful quirk, and still make katsuki the same canon relationship, or even make him a caricature of over the top douchbagery for the obvious purpose of bashing opportunity.

loved the chapter, hope you continue the story

Interesting concept here. It may end up with Izuku not looking at all human in the end, which is a fresh take, I guess. I’m at intrigued as to where this could go.

Welp, I can't see any way Izuku having the same ability as Crawler from Worm could go wrong /sarcasm. Seriously though, this is a great concept and I'd love to see it expanded after you finish Twelve Steps.

...I picture him and Gigantomachia having (what starts out as) a slugfest but ending up getting fast food somewhere.

New reporters then show the two commiserating on 'how hard it is' to get a decent sparring partner.
