mmmm, yes good. a good zombie story. i love how the fentons don't trust danny and danny is trying to keep himself together. i don't know if danny is going to help find a cure? take out the zombies? cure the zombies? also, the ominous bugs. what the flippity flap do they have to do with this, and is it anything like the ghost hospital with spectra and bernard? hmmmmm... shame tucker's not here, the zombies could probably use a little Foley by Tucker Foley. could danny become half zombie half ghost? yikes, sucks for him. will jazz find out his secrets? aaaaaa! so many questions!

At first, I was wondering about the possibility of Danny trying to pass himself off as a case of mistaken identity of someone who happens to look like their son which might help Danny's information gaps.

Re-reading the prologue really helps fit the Zombie Apocalypse into Danny Phantom. If the Zombie virus is really of ghostly origin, it sort of helps explain why the ghost shield is effective in keeping the zombies out and the ecto weapons work.

It also makes it even more scary about his parents finding out about Danny's secret. In most the other other stories (and those from the show itself), when Danny's parents find out about him, they immediately accept him. In this case, it really might incite a pitchfork waving mob and a mandate to burn him down to his last molecule.

I have only a minimum experience with Zombie movies so I am less familiar with the zombie setting than other readers but your descriptions are so vivid and chilling I don't feel as if I'm missing references. This is particularly well balanced as Danny is fairly knowledgeable about the genre but yet is hit hard by what is happening.

I was sort of wondering about the Fentons using Danny a a moral boost. It's not as if it is a safe thing to give the idea that being infected is survivable. I hope it doesn't generate bitterness for those who have lost someone.

incredible chapter as always. i can’t wait to delve deeper into this world. and i know this is a bit early to start to get excited overbut i can’t stop imagining jazz’s face when she finds out about his powers. that’s a whole new ballpark, though. we don’t have time to unravel all THAT.

It makes sense that the Maddie and Jack Fenton of this world don’t trust the Danny we know. If I were them, I wouldn’t have trusted them either.
Finding Plasmius’ portal is smart. If any crazed up fruit-loop survived the apocalypse, it would be Vlad.
I’m glad to see that Jazz is willing to trust him. Makes me think that he’ll eventually tell her his secret.
The memorial and Danny trying to find Sam and Tucker’s names and seeing his reminds me of the memorial scene from Endgame where Scott was searching for Cassie’s name on the memorial and saw his after getting out of the quantum dimension.
I’m glad Sam hasn’t been zombiefied, but I’m upset that Ida’s either dead or a zombie. She was awesome :’(.

Oh wow, oh yes. Yes yes yes yes zombies! I am HERE for a DP zombie fic. I love how Danny explained it to his parents, and how Maddie noticed he didn’t look like he lived in the wilderness, and how the Fenton’s are morning their son, and how amity park has this bubble of protection. The details about the electricity and how people have taken to farming are great. Danny has potential to be very useful in this world. I don’t know where Jazz is, but I have a bad feeling about what may have happened to her. Thank you for writing this, because I clicked on the story based on the summery with low hopes and it has exceeded my expectations.
