Well, the way this is going, there's a chance that Sasuke might actually achieve something close to acting like a human being before they finish the Academy. He might even realise that consciously ridding yourself of the immense wealth of strength that friends and allies can be when there's revenging to be done is a very stupid thing to do.

And the slowly developing Shika-Naru dynamics are great fun to read. And oh the possibilities this partnership could bring!

Never mind speculating about potential alternative trios, considering the chances people are going through.

I am currently imagining Sakura, Sasuke and Ino starting joined runs, by the way. With Ino's first reaction upon seeing him being along the lines of "What's HE doing here?" and Sasuke originally wondering about what running has to do with getting better at handling chakra. (And possibly becoming very pale after hearing Sakura's explanation of what all can go wrong if you don't train the right way.)

I love this. (Also I think it’s so funny how the ninja children are all stalking eachother — and naruto’s guard is stalking naruto and probably watching them stalk each other haha)

I really like how you showed Shikamaru’s words affecting Sakura and Naruto and then the people around them. I hope Shikamaru can develop more into his own person, rather than just following his clan’s path. It must be really stifling. All of them are in cages... Naruto because of Danzou and the Kyuubi, Shikamaru because of his clan techniques, Sasuke because he is alone, Sakura because of her civilian background...

Chakra punches takes mastery of chakra manipulation to use, I hope you realize Sakura should've blown her arms off in that spar.

I get that Naruto is getting strong but why Sakura? the entire point of her story is to be behind so she gets ambitious enough to want to stand on their level. Same with you having Sakura befriend Sasuke, Sasuke needs to be alone so Naruto befriends him creating their unbreakable friendship.

I just found this story, I must say that I love the concept. More than that, the authors writing style and competence is simply wonderful; it's hard to find new, well-written, and interesting stories. This fic easily checks all three of those boxes. Eagerly awaiting future updates!
