Just wanted to point out that Scotland (general location of Hogwarts, iirc) is five hours ahead of New York, so if he left Hogwarts not too long after everyone was assuredly asleep, say 10 or 11pm, then he would have arrived at 5 or 6pm NY time. Roughly dinner time as was shown, but I’m not so sure that’s bed time worthy as Chiron made it out to be. Unless, however, Percy took several hours to make the travel, thus actually arriving at a bed time worthy hour in NY, at which point he would have much trouble making it back to Hogwarts before anyone woke up, especially depending on how long he would be resting in the infirmary before he got around to the reason for his return. I don’t usually like to nitpick, but I felt this was worth it this time, so here I am.

While I’m here, I should also say that I’ve really loved the story so far and I can’t wait for more!

Wasn’t he just promising a little while ago to do whatever it took to make sure that these wizards he’d met—these innocent children who were about to have to fight in a war—wouldn’t lose that innocence? It seems a little off that he’d go against his vow so quickly in the sole interest of protecting his heart. If he were truly worried above all about not being hurt again, then he wouldn’t have come with Dumbledore, Remus, and Sirius in the first place.

Hi I love how you are writing this out! Percy would definitely want a United for everyone just like what they did with romans and Greeks. But idk about putting him in Slytherin tho...and the part where he was like “I’ll just leave the wizard of world to its own struggles” doesn’t really seem like him. Buuut I guess being Voldemort’s grandson does do the trick, soooo idk

I love the story so far, but do disagree with your placement of Percy in Slytherin. He is by no means either ambitious or clever, and he is definitely brave. Also, side note, it’s thestrals, not threstals.
