I’d just like to say that you do a wonderful job writing the characters; they are very themselves, which I find a lot of writers struggle to accomplish. I like that you flesh out Gabriel, giving him dimension, and don’t fall into the trap of writing him as a generic villain. I also think you did a wonderful job with the reveal, and were clever with how you let them discover each other without allowing Gabriel to catch wind.
