Mysteryfan17 chapter 20 . 6/30
Even if the werewolf bit wasn't strong enough, Molly and Tonks are related as Molly is related to the Blacks so it could be that connection too (it was the one I thought of when Hermione started the philia, eros, agape thing, I remember that from my Muggle jr high ;) ). When she was questioned, I expected Molly or someone to mention the relationship but even unmentioned, the connection is there and stronger for it.
Mysteryfan17 chapter 2 . 6/29
I snickered and ate another Reese's when Ginny mentioned craving chocolate cause I sympathize right now and yep, we all neeeeed chocolate, it's required (that and salty stuff *grabs a rack of Ritz*).

Shinen no Hikari chapter 9 . 6/1
Just a quick FYI, because Harry's grandparents - on his father's side at least - were already established as Charlus Potter, and Dorea Black, though a Fleamont could be a great grandfather or something...
boothbonesrule chapter 21 . 5/31

percy is such a coward
EmlynMara chapter 21 . 5/21
I can’t say I disagree with Sirius’s reasoning. It really bothers me, that after all Percy has done, especially the mail incident, that he is still included in the wedding, and still on the approved lists. I know Molly hopes, and I can’t really blame her, but the stakes are too high right now to leave themselves so vulnerable.
scrappy8 chapter 21 . 5/19
great chapter
TheRealTonks chapter 21 . 5/18
I'm glad to see another update. Thank you. I really like this fic.
lschierer chapter 21 . 5/18
you may want to slightly correct this chapterLucius was removed as governor after the chamber of secrets. This story updates slowly enough that I am not 100% sure, but I cannot remember any reason for that to differ from cannon. It should be a minor change, the death eaters certainly have more than enough influence without him on the board make an underage magic charge extremely unhealthy for Harry.
Critic chapter 17 . 5/17
I tried reading this. I think there might be a decent story in there somewhere. I skipped ahead to see. But as it is, it's a hot mess.

Convention is convention, and great writers can sometimes ignore it with great success. However, if there are any great writers on , it's not more than 5 or 6 among 100,000's.

Convention dictates that when you write in 1st person POV, that the personal pronoun "I" always refers to a single person. There's a reason for that: if there's more than one "I" in a story, it becomes very confusing, and the shifts are very disorienting.

Maybe a great writer could ignore that successfully. I doubt it. 1st person POV is hard enough as it is. But maybe.

Unfortunately, you are not a great writer. Ergo, the hot mess.
PikaMew1288 chapter 1 . 10/24/2019
I wonder why there isn't a Ginny SI who willingly takes the Diary and brings to the Room of Requirement to find a Ritual that allows someone to absorb a Horcrux or two? I'm sure some wizard or witch out there made one back when Dark Lords used them commonly. Imagine absorbing all of Tom's horcruxes with the exception of Harry's Scar and Nagini. Voldemort is right that most people would do anything for power after all and while most wizards are lazy, they aren't when it comes to quick ways to gain power and absorbing a part of a Dark Lord or Lady's soul which contains their bloodline magic, part of their actual magic as well as their knowledge seems like a quick and easy way to gain power.
EmlynMara chapter 20 . 10/19/2019
Wow! What a chapter! So much has happened, so much has changed. It feels like their whole world has been turned upside down. Is Hermione becoming the new Dumbledore... Very very interesting developments.
Simianpower chapter 2 . 10/10/2019
Dumbledore gave up WAAAY too easily. He told the prophecy WAAAY too easily. And after all of that, Arthur still trusts him to be secret keeper? He still trust him with everyone's lives even after Dumbledore has proven he does NOT have everyone's best interests at heart? Is Arthur a moron? He literally has nobody he can trust more than Dumbledore? Not even Bones? Not even Shack? Not anyone from the first war? Not even his other family, like Muriel?

The Peter situation, with the Map and everything, went way too easily as well. The Twins didn't even think twice before mentioning one of their most prize possessions, the "secret to their success", to Dumbledore.

Nothing was terribly off, not to a story-breaking level, but everything was a little off. And I think this chapter just negated the entire third year plot. Not sure what might take its place.
