Another thing I love about your stories... another scene that would have given more meaning to the movie... the kind of troubles Vanellope would have with this decision. After all, she seemed more doubtful in the movie.

Ugh, a pro-Shank and pro-Slaugher Race story! That evil power claims another victim (well, several more given those who faced this).

I really loved how you described the kinda emotional conflict that was most likely going on inside Vanellope... it's beautiful... simply beautiful.

Definitely perfect work on Vanellope's hasty decision to want Slaughter Race compared to Sugar Rush, Rancis and the other SRRs. Understanding it yes, agreeing with it still completely HECK NO!

I did feel that the movie didn't justify Vanellope's intense passion for Slaughter Race enough to justify why she'd ditch Litwak's Arcade and Sugar Rush (and Ralph too, albeit apprehensively, that is), but this introspective piece helped to mend that hole... in the brick wall, heheheh.
