Right idea, wrong characterization. Natsu is the most non judgemental charecter. He would never think of juvia as someone gray is not appreciating but as partner to spar or take on mission. He is blind to guild most of time.

Lucy's nature is such that she is doing exactly what gray is doing to juvia. Not giving clear indication of thier feelings. So natsu would remain disappointed about lucy leaving him and happy. But he will bounce back because he is used to her by now. Juvia will try to go solo to lick her wounds.

Now if there is mission where both can join hand they will do so without hesitation. They don't need mira, they are not shy. They are very professional duo. What happens after they journey is up in air.

I really love the whole Natsu and Juvia pairing, I don't really expect you to have them together in this story but reading about them interacting with each other is the next best thing!
