You did an excellent job writing this story. However it really seemed to be quite dragged out. You probably could have written this in like 3 or 4 chapters not 12.
I noticed a couple of points that really weren’t important that could be taken out as they mean nothing to the story. I do love the construction of the plot line thought the early chapters but over time it got quite boring.
