Cute story.

Short and sweet and slice of life.

This fic is really more of a Sonic x Eggman story for various reasons. Both Sonic and Eggman have character arcs as they discuss with each other and their interactions take up a noticeable length of the fic.

Unfortunately Sonic's interactions with Amy leave something to be desired. Almost everything he says to her is apologetic in nature and it feels (oddly enough) more OOC than his relationship with Eggman.

Amy's motivations are unclear. As a reader I don't really have an answer as to why she accepted Sonic's last apology after rejecting all the previous ones. I assume that she just wanted time to process her emotions alone before committing her heart to Sonic (again).

As a whole, the story is rather bare-bones but accomplishes what it needs to. The situational comedy that arises from Sonic and Eggman's interactions is the most redeeming aspect of the story. But the monotonous apologies to Amy are a nuisance to me.

This isn't your average sonamy fic. This is nice fresh take on a relationship between Sonic and Amy. i freakin love it so far. Great plot and humor, and can't wait to see what's going to happen next. Awesome job!
