Did you take inspiration from The Last Gift/Shadow by Keina Snape? While your story is very different there are also definite similarities. I really enjoyed this story. I wish there was more between the 2 year gap but I do appreciate the very satisfying ending you gave them.

Sad but utterly adorable tale. Maybe you could've named cat-harry something more fluffy but still I loved the story as it is. It hurt to see how Harry suffered so much. But in the end it was a happily ever after. You the writer are awesome.
