Hello! I found this story for quite sometime by now, but I never have the chance to read it. So this evening I thought I would pay this story a visit. And boy! What a nice read, indeed. As a long-time narusaku shipper, the plot is definitely something that sparks interest inside me. From the summary, I was curious to see how the things go between narusaku after their respective partners passed away. But after went on few chapters, your story somehow reasonate different feelings in me. Unexpectedly, you made me feel something for both sasuke-sakura relationship and naruto-hinata relationship that in a way that I usually don't. I can understand their sadness from the passed loved one, but at the same time I also enjoy the friendship between narusaku. This "invested" feelings also makes me understand how confusing must be for Naruto when his feelings for Sakura started blossoming and vice versa. Unfortunately we don't get a deep down debates inside naruto mind except for when he was talking to the hinata's tombs. Same thing goes with Sakura, in which we haven't get any thorough explanation on her 'confusion'. Don't get me wrong, I like that they finally have their moments together and make love, but I personally think that their emotional debates can be digged deeper.
Especially since they both had children. It can be so hard for children to accept their parent's new lover. Although I assume that this will be one of your biggest part in this story, since Boruto has shown his suspicion towards his father relationship with Sakura. And, speaking of children, I think Sarada has been left out from this story. I mean, her mother left for Suna for almost one month and we don't get any update from her. Maybe because she's one of my favorite character in Boruto, therefore I want more from her. Lol. But I hope you consider to give Sarada appearance in the future!

Regardless of anything, I really really fond of the narusaku relationship dynamics here. I love how easy they're with each other, and how close they're. I love how their presence are consoling each other, and get through their sadness together like they always do. I get so emotional when I think that on their teenage they used to console each other to get over Sasuke went rough. But now when they're both adult they have to console each other again over Sasuke's death. Damn, that's makes me sad.

Anyway, thank you for writing and sharing this with us. I sincerely hope that you found a time to update this story and eventually finished. But for the time being, thank you for the read. I really enjoyed it!

Really enjoyed this take on NaruSaku, respecting Hinata and Sasuke (their importance and impact) as well as working on grief and learning to get back up again.
My only criticism is that it has been too smooth. While on the one hand, its enjoyable to see them both being more mature about love and communication (learned from whatever combination of age, getting back up after their partner's deaths, and the relationships themselves with their partners), it feels a little stilted without any emotional flareups from this newly burgeoning feeling. It is even referenced in the description - accepting new love can be hard. Perhaps this is slated more in the next three(?) chapters, since you've at least set up the initial time separated due to the hospital.
Hope that you swing back around to push this to the end!

I need more of this story! I’ve been on a NaruSaku binge read lately and this has been one of the fics that feels...refreshing and a nice change of pace from some of the cliché stories I’ve been reading. I’m sure there are other fics with this same concept but I like your writing style. I really loved the interactions you wrote between a mature Naruto and Sakura. Interested in seeing how Boruto will react since he’s already so observant. I can honestly say I haven’t squealed over a fic (I’m embarrassed to even admit ) in a long while and the lemon was great (and a little different from the usual formula others typically use).

I am glad that things didn't go totally south here and Sakura was able to talk to him for a minute or two for her to at least state she didn't care how they were together as long as he was always by her side made me happy

Also glad Kakashi figured it out and was able to take some stress off of Naruto about it to let him finally have some enjoyment and bliss in his life after many months of pain and grief

Take you time with this it is not as if you vanished for 2 years life happens and quite sure this story is not paying you bills so get that covered first :D

And I will gladly waiting this story to be finished patiently :). Hope you didn't lost the spirit

Life gives everyone curve balls. You handled yours the best you could. You did eventually update and you’re genuinely trying to make the schedule work. Great update btw.
