Very nicely done! I myself was hoping for a reunion, probably even more than Elrond, LOL! Maglor apparently has a few more (thousand?) miles to tread to earn his redemption. Well written!

This was the most beautiful story! Your writing is so lyrical and poetic and wonderful, I really felt like I was walking through the ruins of Himring shrouded in mist. Love that Elured and Elurin survived (I, like Maedhros, always felt pretty guilty about them) and that they're such jokers. I do wish Elrond had gotten to meet Maglor (perhaps a sequel?) but this was far more realistic. Thank you for this piece of art!

It will be a while before Elwing meets her son. I am not surprised by Maglor's decision to leave Himling after Elrond's twin uncles found him. He's not ready to rejoin elf society or meet his foster son at this point.
