| 12precinct42344 chapter 1 . 1/6/2019 I am so happy to see this repost from you. I always enjoy re-reading your stories. I loved this segment of life after the birth of Lily. The over-protectiveness of Rick in regards to his girls and the need for Kate to go for a run and to try to get back home before Rick returns is so very like them. I really liked the way you brought Kevin and Javi into the story, and how they both wanted to help Rick. I also liked that you had Captain Petersen there as hostage negotiator, and he remembered Kate. The situation in the bodega was the best: Kate as a Russian immigrant, and letting Robbie and Duane believe that Rick was part of the Russian mob was great. I loved the part where Kate said that Rick would kill her after the phone fell in the pickle barrel. But, they have had a lot of practice in getting new phones. I hope you and your family had a blessed Christmas, and are having a very happy beginning to 2019. |
