LadyLucina chapter 1 . 6/4/2019
Hi there!

First, I'm not a native English speaker and I'm tired and so less focused than usual, so sorry for any language's mistakes I can possibly make.

Second, to be honest with you, this is not the first time I read this OS and it occurs to me on the evening I should review it. Your text is just cute and quite moving. It's really rare to read something about Frederick, authors focusing on Robin, Lucina or Chrom. And as much as I love these characters, I think the secondary ones deserve some writings on them.

You succeed to understand what the Knight can mean to Chrom and Lissa. We only know that the father of Chrom and Lissa was not a good one, obsessed by the Plegian Grimleals and his wrath against them. So yes, I suppose Frederick have played the role of a father since the Exalt left it to him. Even if it's too much, I find his dotting nature cute, showing a man of duty and with a great heart behind all this coldness and stoicism (and a sensible one, since he's the only one who thinks it's weird to find an amnesiac unknown person in a field, who remembers only her name and the crown prince's one).

It was clever to write it from Robin's point of view, because Frederick was not gentle with her at the beginning. She's a more objective observator and I like how you describe the evolution of their relationship. In fact, I can completely imagine Frederick fussing over his pregnant queen or preparing her to be a member of the royal family. Because his life is entirely dedicated to Ylisse household. I find it would be nice to get something from his point of view, how he sees his role, but his desires as well. Even if it's hard for me to see Frederick with personal aspirations aside being the perfect retainer for those he served and loved so much.

The end, with Chrom's apparition and the little moment of tenderness between he and his wife was perfect. Full of love and sweetness, as was the entire OS. And that's why I like it: it's about love and family, really simple, made to let us live a pleasant moment. You succeed to settle a warm atmosphere, with your description of the room full of confortable sofas and armchairs, the fire, the cushions, the books and the tea. For a reader like me, it was the depiction of a perfect afternoon. Thank you for reminding me these little days of simple , my review is quite clumsy, as are most of them these days, with my head full of a lot of important things and my mind tired by job (hopefully, I'll be accepted in the university in September).

See you!

You seem fond of him Chrom. But, will you still if his son is dating your daughter?
Lunas-paradox chapter 1 . 1/25/2019
It was beautiful I can imagine them growing into such a relationship even in canon after Chrom and Robin marry. A wonderful piece good work.
