Nice chapters. The feelings are very realistic written and the story is very fascinating. Will Johan, Peewit, Master Homnibus, Oliver (Comic, Homnibus servant), Justin (tv-series, Homnibus adopted child) , Selwyn and Tallulah appear? Would be nice to see old friends. When will Brainy and Puppy (Baby Smurfs Dog) appear? Please update soon.

Wow, this escalated quickly. Or...it didn't, but it did given how long they were gone in the past, but they technically just got back so...I will just stop there. Pretty awesome how well Scruple turned out in spite of Gargamel's rotten influence in his childhood.

Sassette is such a sweetheart! It's kinda sad she's the only one who seemed to ever truly care for Gargamel and he was never appreciative of that (as far as I can recall), but at least the smurfs are relatively safe for the time being. Granted, from what else I do remember of the cartoon they usually got themselves into certain messes or were visited by some less than well meaning creatures on a semi-regular basis when Gargamel was taking five.

This is really good! Also, is the paid mourner still a thing? I never heard of that until reading this, though given there are worse/stranger jobs it probably shouldn't have been too surprising. I mean, they also had powdermonkeys back in the day and that is (unfortunately) not as funny as it sounds.

Jan. 5 is my birthday! and I love smurfs so much! Thank you for ending their suffering. Poor sassette, though.
