I stumbled apon this story today, and I am thoroughly engrossed in the story. There is rather fantastic world building, much better than most stories I have seen (and I have seen some excellent world building on occassion). Pair that up with familiar faces, good humor when it fits, and scenes of awesome when there is a need for it. I'm hooked.

One complaint however... I NEED MOAR! Keep up the absolutely fantastic work, and I sincerely hope you make more of this story.

Mate, you have 'Jaune Arc' listed as one of your main characters, alongside Team RWBY. And yet, I haven't even seen Jaune yet in the first five chapters. It's just... RW_Y building up their friendships and stuff. So, is Jaune going to appear as the main character, or did you just put his name in by accident...?

Really like this story. It’s one of those rare crossovers that are integrated with each other, rather than treated as two completely settings. There are ways to make that work, but to meld things together into something completely new shows great creativity.

Keeping the core of the characters intact while at the same time giving them differences is one of the things I most admire from a fan fiction writer. Fan fiction to me has to be familiar but new. The “Fan” part is what divides it from just “Fiction”. You’ve done that and I love it.

I realize we’re still early in this story, relatively speaking, but so far this feels way more like a Blake story. I mean I think using her as an outsider to introduce the readers to the world has been a great trip so far but things feel very much centered on and around her. Might want to think about a tag change if you plan to keep using her PoV going forward.

I only bring this up because I’m interested in seeing more of the other characters and their thoughts, opinions, etc. There aren’t many of those, compared to Blake. So this isn’t a huge critique but I felt like trying to leave something constructive behind.

Great chapter. Great, great chapter. If half the fics ive read on this and other sites had such magnificent worldbuilding as this fic, fanfiction would be more accepted than professional writing.

Ive been leery of this fic, especially compared to how much i enjoy Through Her Eyes, as im simply not a big fan of Monster Hunter - the only version of that game ive ever played being World. But, yes, while there is a significant number of Monster Hunter elements in this fic to truly justify the crossover tag, the unique version of Remnant, with its post-monster-apocalypse cities and culture is fantastic. So much engrossing look into details, time after time, about the cities, the locations and the characters in them just floors me.

I love the slave-train scene in this chapter. I initially knee-jerked to how forced it felt, how unlikely it was for Blake to just stumble across that demonstration, and for how tasteless and cheap that demonstration felt. But after thinking about it for a minute, even that makes perfect sense; Of course Blake would see something like that, shes in the busiest part of town, and im willing to bet (Although i do not know for sure) that real world Abolitionist movements did things crazier than that every day. A great scene.

Speaking of Blake, though; all of this ship-teasing better come to fruition, this time! My heart is metaphorically blue-balled by Through Her Eye's lack of conclusion on that front, possibly due to it just being a "Volume 1", possibly because you just like teasing, but SOMEONE had better comfort the Cat Girl, damnit.

I want to know more about this story, though! Whats Weiss up to - you mentioned the SDC in this chapter, so she exists im sure, but is she appearing? Wheres my best girl?! Will the "Old" world have an ongoing factor in this story - I mean, Penny appeared... just how Robotic is she in this fic? Even if shes a Real Girl(tm) this time around, what happened to all that old world tech? The Airships, the Guns, the Force Fields? This Remnant is obviously a bit less techno than canon, but Old Vale exists and that implies that there's Old Tech to be had. Will the fact that Blake has the last name Khan mean anything? Is her family just... not in this fic, or is there more to be told about the Belladonna name? Where did the Monster Hunter creatures come from, Why are they here, and what other mysteries do they conceal?!

So many thanks for writing this - and, while im at it, Through Her Eyes and its Refactor, while i remember. I cant say that enough! But im extremely excited to see more of this. I really hope to see more from you, soon.
