I honestly hope he stops being so damn emo. He should be used to being weaker, he always believed himself to be average, here he believes himself to be God's shit, it's really offputting.

Channeling Naruto, I see. I don't like it. For all intents and purposes he shouldn't care what they think. It would be better if he just wanted to master magic so he can reconnect with that feeling he felt while he was drifting between worlds/lives, whatever it was. Wanting to be famous among people who don't do shit but criticize and expect you to help them has to be some sort of serious mental problem, like Stockholm syndrome but worse.
