It was a good oneshot, and I like the emphasis between how grey it is outside and how warm and sunny it is within Rose. My mind can't help but compare it to the earlier proposal fic in the collection, and this one comes across as weaker. I did enjoy it still, but being so close and so much less detailed to the first proposal fic, it doesn't stand as strong. It would probably stand stronger without being separated by just one drabble between them or perhaps not within this collection. I did love the contrast at the beginning, and I definitely enjoyed the oneshot. Maybe this drabble though could be connected to the one before it somehow, just the contrast of separation and cloudiness to the joy of being together again, the thrill of the proposal, and the excitement, like sunshine, about the upcoming wedding and marriage. I hope that you don't mind, maybe it's just me reading it back to back that makes it come across as weak instead of strong, but I do think if somehow you connected this one to the previous one or if you expanded this one a little longer, toying with the contrast of the grey weather and the sunny feelings of the day, it would come across as much stronger. Good job though! Keep writing, and I'm really glad that you are enjoying this challenge too!

Wow, I loved your descriptions in this one. It definitely came across as angsty and dramatic, and for a little while, I thought that Rose was dead or missing, though clearing that up at the end definitely eased it into a much happier story. (I really enjoyed it, though I do think that if you expanded this one out into a longer story or a fuller oneshot, it would really be amazing. Maybe add some more background or at least build the drama up a little more and perhaps end up with Rose coming back and the fluff that would ensue. It was a lovely read, regardless, but it could be absolutely incredible expanded. It really fit into the collection and filled the prompt perfectly, though I'd love to know just where Rose went to, how long she's been gone, and just what happens when she comes back. Would it be rainy outside, snowy, would the sun shine? Will Juleka pick her up from the train station, the bus station, the airport, and what would Rose tell her about the trip? Was it just as hard on Rose as it was on Juleka? How long have they been dating? Just a few questions to maybe jog some ideas, if you do decide to expand it. Either way, I really enjoyed this drabble, though I feel like some added length to turn it from a drabble to a longer oneshot would make it better.) Good job on this a little sadder drabble!

Aww, this is absolutely adorable, Yellow! I love the proposal scene, because it sounds utterly romantic and absolutely perfect! (It fits them both so well, and to top it all off, it's definitely romantic enough for a lovely proposal.) The dancing around the kitchen is definitely, definitely something that Rose would do, and I'd never read a story anywhere before where a proposal was triggered by a wedding invite, so it's especially unique. Good job! It's definitely a lovely start to the collection, and I bet that the other ones are just as cute and phenomenal as this one! Aww, the first line of the proposal just got me, and it fits for them so well, as they've been friends for forever and falling absolutely in love with each other so early on is definitely, definitely something just like their slow budding friendship turned romance. I loved this oneshot/drabble so much, Yellow! It's beautiful, they are definitely a hundred percent in character, and despite being short, it doesn't need anymore words to feel more complete. It's a lovely, lovely read. When Juleka said that, I absolutely knew she was going to propose soon; it was clear to me, but Rose's obliviousness feels pretty in character and adds a little dash of humor to the story.
