Your writing is definitely stronger than many of the native English speakers. Your word choice is on point, your pacing is just right, and your metaphors are very meaningful and touching (like comparing tears to pearls). Newt and Tina are so in character that it’s almost like watching a deleted scene. The one constructive criticism I have is that, though your pensive passages are brilliant, it would be helpful for the readers if you would interweave what’s going on in the physical world with the pensive world a little bit more. Other than that tiny suggestion, this is a wonderful price.
