So obviously this Island hosted a Japanese garrison during the War. The file Weiss found was in English and referenced a Dr. Am- in English. My assumption is the island was ignored during the island-hopping campaign and the Garrison simply ran out of supplies and starved. But I think there is more to it than that. The Dr. Am- and whomever else obviously came back to the island for research.

Are you serious is everyone gonna get hurt on this island? Still I wonder what are the pairings here? I've been wanting to ask this for a while and the curiosity has been killing me still great chapter so keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next chapter update.

Why would Yang be leading anyone? She’s horrible material for leadership. Even without her anger problems.

There are reasons why Jaune and Ruby were chosen by Ozpin. They lead. When shit hits the fan or leadership is needed, they both step up, recognize peoples skills, and put those skills together to benefit the group. Yang is basically the opposite of that.

I get the feeling Jaune’s camping skills will be ignored and one or more girls will be magically better than him at everything he’s supposed to be good at.

That was sad, jaune family sucks, I hope that sister he was talking is worried and is telling the parent that is their fault.

Man Jaune has it rough still glad to see he cleared the air with Pyrrha and got a cool scar too. So keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next chapter update.

A suggestion for Jaune: maybe you he could do one of two things. One: manage to find/get/hunt decently; or two: he would get moody, see himself as worthless, and (if it's close enough) try to swim to the plane to retrieve the radio, or die trying.

Honestly didn’t expect it to be Blake to stick up for Jaune. I kinda figured you would let tension boil over until one, most likely Yang, would pop over a miniscule hiccup which would snowball into a physical altercation that would leave some form of lasting damage on one of them. I mean hell, it still could. Yang may have admitted it to herself but she is still overly prideful and headstrong. (Or so canon has told us. Not sure how close they mirror in this one.)

Seeing that jaune is the only male I thought that this would be a harem fic, but it looks like it will be yxb rxw and jxp by the way you're doing the scenes and how often they're together.

It seems (so far) at Ruby is the level head bc Pyrrha follows orders to the T no matter how unorthodox it may seem (ofc excluding obviously stupid orders), and Weiss is just as (if not more so) hot headed then Yang here. In ways of self importance, pride, and narcissism.

Blake is the coolest head second to Ruby, only rendering her second due to her incapability to actually helping due to her injury.

Now Jaune, while being an invaluable part of the team, he seems to be the most naive in thinking, often then not comparing their situation to a fictional mode of story (i.e movies).
