Your version of Caesar is gross, but I have to admit the picture you paint reminds me a bit of Harkonnen from dune. He's lost in his own imaginings to be sure, given his ramble of a speech. But there's still a hint of his old shrewness somewhere in there. I can see why Lanius would have left, but I'm surprised no one else had tried to seize power. I'm also about as lost as Bright as to what he actually wants. I'm guessing something along the lines of annexation. He fancies himself Julius but he's closer to being Caligula. Maybe a little Nero sprinkled in. Not sure what all they have around their encampment to show either, but I'll guess I'll have to wait and see. Good update, keep it up!

This was anything but boring, you've sucked me in with this first chapter and now I'm going to have to go check out your other fics. I've not read a lot of Arcade viewpoint chapters, but I liked this one. There aren't a whole lot of Legion fics that interest me, so well done on that front. I'm certain part of Samantha's entourage was Star Paladin Cross and eyebot/drone Cannon hybrids, but I'm at a loss as for who the Enclave armor wearing man and the raider woman are. Still, I'm sure I'll find out as I read. Good stuff! Looking forward to the next chapter already!
