Mythra has a very different charm from Pyra. Pyra will take care of you no matter the burden placed on her, so you want to return the favor...but Mythra is the one who needs to be taken care of, and wants to pay you back afterwards. I like to think the thing that makes Rex special is that he has room in his heart for both types.

Seriously? This "story" is obviously just a complaint about Pyra/Rex fanfics disguised as a Mythra/Rex fanfic. Very disappointing. I never liked mythra anyway...

Either I've been reading all the wrong fanfics, or Mythra's view of Pyra/Rex fanfics is really off.

I just think Mythra is about her feeling for Rex until the end of the game. However I believe Pyra also shares Mythra's feelings for Rex. Also nice rom-com short.

Least no one didn't write a scenario about Pyra, Mythra, and Nia doing lewd things to Rex on his birthday.

I'm much more a fan of the Rex/Mythra/Pyra threesome shipping (perhaps with Nia even added in) as that seems to be what the game supports most. Namely we can't ignore how there are a lot of shipping moments between Rex and Pyra (more than between Mythra and Rex, though the ones they do have are still quite important), or how Rex tells Zeke he considers Mythra and Pyra to be the same person. The latter especially makes it hard to see how he could romantically love one and not the other. Then of course we have Zeke saying that Pneuma (who is both Mythra and Pyra at the same time) is the girl Rex loves. I don't really get any indications of Rex needing/wanting Pyra as a mother figure in his life either, given he does have Corrine.

That said, I applaud your dedication to advocating for Mythra's romantic interest in Rex, as she does need it. I have half a mind to contribute myself. That said, one thing I admit turns me off from trying to write fanfiction for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is how little we know about what Alrest is like postgame (and postgame would be what I would want to write about), the mechanics of Mythra and Pyra's separation, new existence, etc. I'd rather not have to guess.
