Chthon Spellweaver chapter 4 . 5/5/2019 Glad to see it continues I guess the rest of the story will not follow a timeline sequence and I'm actually interested in what will happen next, a conflict within mortals maybe? Given on a lore base the Nephalem is always invincible like a god, the extension may be out of my imagination. Thank you for the quick update and nice work as ever! |
Chthon Spellweaver chapter 3 . 4/24/2019 The whole story with alternate ending is interesting and beautifully written. I played demon hunter in Diablo 3 and I find a special charm in your shape of Valla which magnified the core character of her just by some very natural binding such as her interaction with Tyrael. Wish to see more stories of her Thank you for your nice work! |
kenyizsu chapter 2 . 12/29/2018 Interesting. I am honestly torn between what to think. On one hand, I like this fic greatly, it is quality-written, and seeing how fans make Imperius into a villain is always a blast. On the other hand, this hard turn in logic by the end of Chapter 2 honestly broke the believability of the story. At the beginning of this chapter Imperius talks about, very logically, that the Nephalem hero needs to be killed, because she is too powerful and receptive to corruption. That made perfect sense, that is EXACTLY what Imperius would say and do, even though the alchemic table was kinda weird and out of place for a warrior like him. But then, right when Imperius has Valla at death's door, being subdued by a fragment of the Worldstone, he suddenly performs a hard 180 and just lets her go with a stern warning "not to be a bad human". That is.. that is seriously not what Imperius would do. He would have killed Valla, right there and then in order to remove the danger to the Silver City. I was actually ready to see Valla die right at the beginning, and have the rest of the story try and cope with that loss, and see where this all goes. But this is... Honestly, this was a bad turn for Imperius, going straight against his character. Despite this, I still very much appreciate the effort and quality put into the actual composing. And I'd like to see more Diablo stories from you in the future. Take care and thank you for reading my review! |
