Yes, this works much better than the actual finale. Wyatt's mess, Wyatt should clean it up, and Flynn should have needed up with Lucy, no question.

This will tide me over nicely until I can figure out exactly how I want to handle my own rewrite of the ending ;)

I can totally see this happening instead. I especially like how you made it work by simply switching Garcia and Wyatt. I never thought of that possibility. (I should confess I'm rather a new fan, have only seen the movie and then the last five episodes of season two. So I'm undecided about who Lucy should end up with...I can see both sides).
