It's hinted a few times in the manga that males of the Demon Tribe can get pregnant. If Yuri gets pregnant and has a child that looks like Wolfram, then he can work through his trauma because Yuri would never neglect his baby. Maybe a time-skip. I'm crying for them both right now.

Listen EB, this was pretty heart wrenching, but much better than any of the other one shots involving love potions. I'm not going to lie and say I don't want a sequel with a happy ending. To be fair though, that's a lot of work. I don't have an exact formula but I do know that there would need to be several layers to it, so it may not be a single chapter / one shot style story. There's too much to come back from.

It would certainly need to involve Greta (a child's forgiveness is more pure than even the cleanest water), a passage of time that includes both Wolf and Yuuri's POV's (give around 5 years or so), and it would likely happen during King Yuuri's political ventures outside the Kingdom wherein he continuously runs into Wolfram. The ex-Prince would walk away out of respect and in no small amount of pain but eventually Yuuri would stop him and they would talk.

OMG I have more ideas for this than I though. Crap!

I dont think the blame should be solemnly on Annissa. Why weren't there any guards outside wolframs door to prevent yuuri from coming into wolframs room.. why wasnt anyone there to give yuuri the full details about what happened when he came back.. I mean isn't Ulrike notified when yuuri transfers back to Shin Makoku? Why didn't anyone ask Annissa to work on an antidote or something.. I feel that the issue could have been avoided. Everyone in the castle is to blame about what happened to yuuri. Hopefully Annissa can be forgiven and allowed to be back. I mean if yuuri can forgive wolfram then he should forgive Annissa as well...

I just want a sequel. I don't want their story to end like this. That's all. But I don't have any realistic ways they can stay together either. Wolfram wasn't to blame, and I can understand how much it hurt Yuuri.

(sorry, sent it by mistake), remain alone at the mountains or live at the town as someone people don't like much but it's useful. I imagined both things are compatible, starting with him as hermit at the mountain near a town, hunting and surviving, and then within a year starting to work as some sort of military mercenary when people in said town trust him a little bit. He'll still have no close friends and very little simpaty, but it'll be a decent living in general lines. Also, he doesn't actually care about humans or even wants to get involved with them. His time alone will be good to think and heal, and also accept his dark side. The potion made him very violent and sexual desire was not the only problem here, he needs to think about his abusive behavior.

Meanwhile, Yuuri will also have time to heal. He'll keep his close relationship with Conrart and other close aids, but it'll have some hard times trusting other people after a betrayal like that one. He'll grow into a more careful and kingly young man. He'll also need some sort of mental therapy to actually overcome his truamas, and I'm not sure Shinmakoku woukd be the best place but taking into account that japan doesn't care very mucha bout mental health, I can imagine all the psychological support he'll get will come from Murata, dr. Rodriguez and probably Shin Makoku's medical staff that deals with soldier's mental health.

At some point in time, provably a couple of years later, Yuuri will start to think more and more about Wolfram's whereabouts. It's something he already had in mind the whole time, plus knowing Wolf was under drugs and thechnically he was another victim (Anissina can't have a happy ending, she'll be the one to blame for everything), but he needed time and strength to actually accept. As the ending you gave the story, Yuuri always loved Wolfram and he still does. So he'll decide to try to find him, sending Josak to check, and getting some secret news. These secrets will be more and more evident for his close relatives, who will have some doubts at first but with more time they'll accept the same reality Yuuri already did. Wolfram probably deserves the royal pardon, and he'll get it.

The official news Wolfram gets by letter hit him hard. The popular story is he was adulterous, and it'll be claim as fake accusations, and some rumors will still preval like Yuuri just being too nice, mixed with pity about the misunderstanding or injustice he suffered. But no one will ever know the truth out of their close circle of people.

Wolfram decided to go back. He wants to live in Shinma along mazokus, even if his life is just the same simple thing as it is now he prefers to be inside his mother country borders. Feeling lucky, he travels, and he ends up being summoned at Bielefeld. He fears his uncle's reaction, the man is extrict as always and very proud, as the rest of the family, but he doesn't get the official news he'll be inherited. His uncle let's him live thete modestly and he feels even better. Little by little, Waltorana notices the rumors and half truth he knews from the capital are not what actually happened, and with some time Wolfram will open to his father figure who accepts everything and ia a big part of his healing process. Wolf is able to work in politics as secretary in the main Bielefeld office, a similar position to the one he had at Yuuri's castle. He'll still be some sort of outcast, but gis good behavior will gain simpaty soon, and the rest of the family will allow him to engage in politics more and more.

Yuuri will get news every a couple of months, and have some peace of mind knowing he's ok. He'll also be glad to know he got a life ge actually enjoys, becuase Wolfram was always really involved in politics. He'll b3 puzzled when Waltorana has the tact to ask in private if he'll be ok with Wolfram's presence at some sporadic meetings at the capital. Of course he accepts and doesn't have issues with it, but he's a little bit unconfortable to discover Waltorana knows everythin, even when they never talk about it. Yuuri's getting better at the subtle language of the court. Time passes and he understands that he can trust Waltorana, the man never ever birngs a similar topic again.

Wolfram is also extremely nervous about his first visit at rhe capital. It's not even the castle but the place is the central snake nest in some aspects and rumors can be nasty. He has some good and bad times, but in general he's ok. He keeps attending meetings, with and without his uncle, so he's back in the spotlight for a time. Then people get bored and he's just able to work as any other noble in the place. But even if he feels good about these meetins and social gatherings, stepping into the castle again is very hard.

Yuuri and him meets at some distance during on of these events, just making eye contact after a couple of other visits when they never saw each other. Wolfram doesn't even make contact with his brothers until a long time, and he's glad they forgave him and there's not hard feelings. He truly appreciates his luck and how things turned.

The meetings will keep happening and they start to work together along the other people and nobles. And then social gatherings will happen. Yuuri's been always alone and he didn't even though of entering any sort of relationship, and the same goes for Wolfram. Things will get emotional when Wolf gets the courage to bring bakc the topic to Yuuri one of the many times they were able to be alone, and he finally's able to hear he's been forgiven. He doesn't even think about getting Yuuri back, honestly he resigned to the idea but he has a lot of hopes they can build a friendship. That's his actual dream right now.

These pure intentions are perfect for Yuuri who's really comfortable. He feels like a weight is being released, one he didn't know he felt. So they enjoy the friendship, for quite some time. And eventually love will sueface again because it was always there. Yuuri will act a little bit puzzled by accidental contact, and start looking at Wolf with secret glances more frequently while the mazoku tries his best to not make him uncomfortable and keep some distance. It'll be Yuuri the one to lead.

Wolfram will have doubts, he'll feel he's not worth of that kind of possibilities, but he can't lie. He wants the second chance so bad. So he let's Yuuri lead while he steps very carefully in that sort of courtship.

Their intentions to date are not a secret for others eyes, but rumors die easily and the general opinion is they're a good match. That lift a weight from then, not causing drama or issues and giving them good space to start healing together.

If Greta exist, she's around 20 now and she'll be glad only silently encouraging them.

With good development they can even overcome their sexual truamas together and have that sweet first time they always imagined.

Hello, how are you? This was indeed a very dark story xD but you left me thinking about it for a long time when you asked how this could have a credible happy ending. I would like to see one, really, and I wanted to share what I imagined. This is in no way a "you should write a continuation like this", but just a story based on your fic that I hope entertains you!

you give this couple an edge I really like reading, so kudos to you. Maou Yuuri must show up,not to rape Wolfram but to to empower Yuuri in some way.

What an interesting take on the love potion trope! This is so heartbreaking. The sequel could be about the days leading up to the trial or maybe what happens to Wolfram after he trial, I think it would be interesting to see the first things he would do after being banished.
