Taking notes is still important, especially when trying to keep track of changes. This chapter was rather short, but it still held an important moment, so that's okay.

Tony and Clint are drugged with something that makes them quite and docile. The bad guys let Clint make their cell into a bigger version of one of his vent nests.
It takes a while for the heroes to find their friends, In the meantime the bad guy have grown fond of their captives.

The internal debates add a really interesting side to this story.

Indeed, from his perspective she's rather creepy. Heck, she is a little creepy. At this rate she's following the path of those women who kidnap children and hold them hostage for the entirety of their lives.

Shinichi's parent's were usually absent, so I do think having another parental figure isn't a bad idea, but he does have a mother, as weird as she is. Though, there are some kids with multiple moms, so maybe he could adapt to her strangeness and just think of her as a second mom...though, considering everything else he's got going on, and his desire to go back to being Shinichi, accepting her would be another cause to stay as Conan...oh, the complications she brings to the table.

I so look forward to seeing where this goes!

When king Grayskull died he made sure his power would used for good and his bloodline protected. What nobody knows is he left some contingencies and failsafes.
There was a warning " For when the chosen has been failed by those he trusts, the ancient pact will be called to action. For those who failed a second chance will appear for those who are worthy of it."
The pact was magically binding agreement made made so if "bloodline or champion" made the precautions activate, a side opposite to the ones who cause it would have guardianship till the matter is resolved. Said side is chosen by magic so ward would be safe.
The pact gets activated but what the "good guys" minus Duncan, Orko and cringer (whose not at fault) don't realize is it was two clause activation this time.
