Umm I know this is an AU but I doubt Sirius could dispel centuries of distrust between goblins and wizards with simple gestures. Sure politeness may get you service, but not true respect.

I love this story...glad thar regulus had a change of heart and got help instead of doing this alone...glad that harry got to live with his parents and r best friends with neville, luna and the twins..wish we knew who they would be paired with later on down the road...just hope Harry doesnt get with Ginny or Hermoine...like them as friends but not girlfriend material...but thats my opinion...I just love that Luna, Harry, Neville and the twins are overprotective of Sirius...lol..love it

While I adore a good Albus-bashing fic as much as the next person (ok, who am I kidding - I *ADORE* them!), it is rather nice to find the occasional fic where Albus was just stupid and honestly misguided rather than purposefully evil. It makes a nice change once in a while.

This is a very nice story. While I did find that "the marauders" did come off a bit TOO "slavering over each other" (men are sooo not like this is real life, not even the closest of the close), still, it's much better than the "yo bro" crowd. It's great seeing Reg becoming more the person he could have been although I was surprised at his level of uncaring toward Sirius when they were younger.

I like Dumbledore and Snape was on the good side. But im glad that at least in au everyone else has a chance at happiness

I like your story, but I find the whole sainthood of Sirius and James to be off-putting. Obviously, their pranks in school were vicious due to the war, and I would have liked to have seen that from Regulus' point-of-view since we know they targeted Slytherins. Oh Regulus would still have come to Sirius about the Horcrux plan, but they needed a real heart-to-heart about their past familial relationship and the mistakes made. Moreover, their personalities seem OOC too; Sirius is clever, defiant, but reckless; Regulus is book smart, cunning, but socially gullible. Working together they would cover each other's deficiencies. I also believe House Black puts family first above all. Still it is a great AU story
