One of the best HGSB stories I've read. Very poetic and gentle yet impressive. I love how you put the actual time travel and Hermione's actions into the background and decided to write mainly about what came afterwards and the repercussions of said actions. Very unusual in fanfiction but I liked it immensely.

When I read a story that truly touches me be it my favourite book of a well-known author, or a fanfiction posted for everyone to see I get this curious feeling as if I am on verge of tears while being fuzzy to the very bones with happiness.
I believe the language in your story made me feel that way. As well as the characters which truly came alive through absolutely lovely dialogues, the little ticks and thoughts, the corny frases which here added an important weight on each interaction. I actually got goosebumps at one point or another.
What is even more fascinating is how the time does not truly matter here. Nor the surroundings really or action. Only the relationships and interactions between the characters and what a wondrous job was done!
The romance between main characters was written beautifully, and while the kisses were few, the closeness between them was truly far more intimate than any sex scene. It was so well-developed I became truly invested and happy for them.
Of course, the way you spread exposition through your story and wrote the characters around the events of the past/future also deserves praise.
Thank you for this piece of fantastic writing. I wish you inspiration and patience for all your future works and days.

This needs more reviews and I totally got confused when I got to the end of it thinking I was on Ao3 and going, 'but where are the kudos? I need to kudo this!'

Honestly - this is the quality of story I expect from something on Ao3 and not on FFnet anymore. The story you wove; the subtle depression of Hermione's jaunt back in time and decision to change things but also her realization of what she lost, but all from outside perspectives is... brilliantly done.

So, so, well done. Bravo!
