And good grief...Orion SERIOUSLY got away with helping Megatron escape? That stupid kid... He's going to mess everything up for everyone.

Hopefully the climax involves Megatron living in exile with Caliber occasionally visiting, Xaaron dying via his own arrogance and stupidity and Optimus AND Cybertron finally finding the REAL peace it needs, without jickwads like Xaaron trying to spread their bigoted attitudes everywhere.

Awwww! Seeing Caliber reunite with Soundwave was so touching.

As usual, Xaaron continues to spit shame poor Caliber after everything the little mech has done to prove himself.

The drama surrounding everybody, including Caliber and Megatron, is absolutely well executed by you, Kenya. I felt it on all sides as I read this chapter.

And Megatrons escape is actually more of a shock than it should be. I don’t think he really broke out, it may have been Orion’s plan finally going off but it doesn’t really feel like it. And I don’t think Megatron WANTS to escape at this point, even if he could. The only way I see him breaking out on his own was if he heard he wouldn’t be able to see Caliber before his execution. Otherwise I think he was sprung and went along either because he had no other choice or because he didn’t want the ones breaking him out getting in trouble. If it was Orion and crew he didn’t want the kids to get caught or in trouble and plans to explain to them his decision and maybe say bye to Caliber before turning himself back in. The same if it were loyal Decepticons that sprung him.

Soundwave being back makes me happy, Cal needs someone like him right now.

It's terrific. You handle all the characters really well, and your OCs are wonderful (especially Soar-I'm on the autism spectrum, so I appreciate seeing characters like him).

Poor Caliber... this whole thing makes one feel so bad for him. He's a good kid stuck with a nutcase for a father. This is not an easy thing to go through. But he's been more mature about it than his stupid brother, that's for sure. Orion will only get Caliber hurt if not killed because he's too stupid to really think things through. Worse, he could really get his father in serious trouble...maybe even ... NOPE! Not going there!

1986 was a HUGE disappointment.

I am a believer in rehabilitation as opposed to punishment, and Megatron certainly has the requisite acceptance of responsibility for what he's done... by no means should someone be punished just to make others happy. Yet if he's accepted it and might even want it-to die so that the other Decepticons can move on with their own lives-then that complicates things.

So that's that then... I feel sorry for Cal, and all his friends. Sort of.

NOOOO! Oh my god! Poor Caliber! It was real brave of Orion to try and come up with some idea to get break him out. But... oh damn... this is it! I'm ready!

Caliber's life is a hard one. Knowing that he's the son of criminal is tough enough on him. It's only gonna get harder for him, especially with the pressure he's under. He does have his adoptive family to support him, but I wonder if even that will be enough?

Aww, the end made me cry! The characters and their emotions are so well-written, and they feel so real! You’re an amazing writer, and this is an amazing story!
