Interested in what will happen in this story. I like the way Robert sobers up after Lyanna's death. I hope it will stick. My only complaint is I wish the chapters were a bit longer. I am interested in Runa as a character but do not feel like I know her very much yet. I look forward to you fleshing her out more! Until the next chapter!

Hell yeah! Another fic that I can follow that doesn't try to excuse canon Lyanna and Rhaegar's actions and how they ironically hastened the potential end of the world that they believed that they would prevent themselves. Also, I like the inclusion of a Stark cousin being the driving change. After-all, it would only be a simple change of Rickard and his father Edwyle's generations being luckier in leaving at least some heirs behind. Even more interesting and in support of this oc's power and existence, the fact that Lord Edwyle Stark's mother had been a Blackwood is explains the reappearance of those formerly dormant Warg and Greenseer abilities in the bloodline.

What's also interesting is just how the Starks are also related to a lot of well known Houses in the Vale as well (according to the family tree and albeit mostly through female lines that are related Edwyle's side of the family. This can help explain how there was even any groundwork at all for a Vale-North alliance (along with Ned's fostering of course) despite the fact that the two Kingdoms had always been at odds even after Aegon's Conquest.
