Mandy chapter 19 . 1/7/2019
As a singer, I have truly enjoyed this story. I really appreciate the wonderful detail with which you described everything it takes to put a song and a concert together. I do hope you’ll write the sequel—I’d love to read it!
Guest chapter 19 . 1/7/2019

Looking forward to your sequel.

I’m glad Elsie gets to stay on, but I’m a little disappointed that they haven’t gotten together romantically just yet. But I’m glad to hear that that might be in store in the sequel.

Postscript, Rosa-I missed your rec's for suggested choirs, at the start of your chapter- your picks made the chapter even better!
Guest chapter 19 . 1/6/2019
Masterful use of canon dialog in this setting. Their 'voices' were pitch perfect.
Thank you so much, Rosa, for sharing your talent in writing and choral music to give us a wonderful and very enjoyable story. Forgot to mention earlier that I like your chapter titles!
Very much looking forward to a sequel with more delicious Chelsieness.
Guest chapter 18 . 1/6/2019
Once again, I listened to every link while I read your story; it really made the concert come alive for me.
I have no idea what Loch Lomond has to do with Christmas, but Charles (and the guys) pulled off a wonderful surprise for Elsie. As if anyone there does not see that Charles has made a public statement of his regard for the Scottish dragon. And the YouTube link was a very touching rendition. Thank you, Charles, for pulling rank and having Elsie close out with 'Auld Lang Syne' with everyone joining in. Takes us all back to that glorious scene downstairs.

-25 degrees-his favorite day?! For a polar bear maybe!
-The Old Bat- Yes!
-Aww, those memories of the proposal... verrry clever.
-Just like your musical shows, I liked the organization of your story... a beginning, a middle and an end... and a hint of what's to come, in a sequel.. I bet that Mrs. Butte is a real beaut! And Matthew, maybe? (I'm upset his replacement, not he, will be in the movie. :-[
suzie chapter 18 . 1/6/2019
What an absolute treat... pulled up a lot of the songs on YouTube. Saw a youngsters choir sing Haba'ah- just beautiful-love those minor keys!
Played John McDermott singing Loch Lomond... as I read your chapter. Just took me half way around the world.
-William perfect pick-so stouthearted!
-Mrs. H Being offended last thing she felt.
-Robert
-appearance of Matthew!
-Mr. C-even a conductor can have his favorites
-I was actually predicting you'd pick Auld Lang Syne to cap it off-Bravo! Bravissssimo!
Guest chapter 17 . 1/6/2019
same guest here. ;)
I'm a little late with my review, but I wanted to take the time to listen to each selection. Thank you for so much information about the singing; I felt as if I were there in person. Very impressed with both the selections and the choirs who can successfully pull off such a range of songs/hymns. And all the comments and thoughts from Elsie, Charles, and the audience certainly added to the 'live concert' feeling.
I have known the "12 Days of Christmas Confusion" from way back from Straight No Chaser.
Chelsietx chapter 19 . 1/6/2019
Excellent! All your phrases form the show we’re once again so fitting in this context. This has really been an enjoyable journey- especially with so much of it posted during the holidays. I’ll be looking forward to your sequel with even more Chelsie development and possibly meeting Mrs. Butte. Thanks so much!
Chelsietx chapter 18 . 1/6/2019
What a journey! Thank you for treating us to this fine piece. While “O Holy Night” May have been more powerful; ending with “Auld Lang Syne” with Elsie starting it like in the series was perfect. Can’t wait for your epilogue.
Guest chapter 18 . 1/6/2019

-Loved Rose's BF and the dreidel song-brought me back to the 3rd grade.
