Nice story! Really like the Raiders reference, as well as the Skywalkers/solos getting a happy ending. Still, with no more wars in the Star Wars universe, I imagine things will get kind of boring for them.. Also, no offense, but the Vong came across as really weak here, compared to their counterparts in the books.

Glad you decided to do the rescue (which is the correct spelling for that word, btw) scene. Odd that it was on Nal Hutta, though. The canon on whether that world is hospitable to non-Hutts seems to vary. According to Atton in Kotor II, the stench from that world is so great, only Hutts can stand it. But in the clone wars TV show, lots of criminals lived there.

I didn't know Chewbacca was that old.
