Maysam is such a piece of work, jealous of Jame's real grandmother, Vita, and assuming him as her own grandchild. I love the heated discussion between Barsad and Bane with the reference to Jin. I'm glad that Bane backed off a bit, because Barsad needs his space right now. There's no doubt in my mind that Bane will be there when it's time to take down Sanjana's killers.

Looks like the household just got a lot bigger, what with Nyssa’s mom and Sanjana's family. And Bane has managed to captivate yet another female! Well, who can blame Kavitha? I love the image of him lurking in the shadows like some film noir kingpin. Kavitha’s smart, and I think she’ll guess who Haris is.

Aw, Hisham! Hes sweet, I like him! And a whole chapter of Barsad/Nyssa! This is a treat. I miss Sanji and wonder how this power play between B&N will play out. Can't wait for next chap xxx

Great chapter! Go Barsad! Nyssa takes it personally that there is disloyalty in the ranks. I guess that’s due to feelings of inferiority because she’s illegitimate. She likes to flaunt her authority, and poor Barsad is her whipping boy. No Bane in this chapter but he is there in spirit! :)

A really deep dive into the soul searching going on in the Bane/Barsad families. I’m very curious to know what Nyssa has in store for Barsad. He’s being torn in two directions right now and I doubt he can take any more stress. I like it that Bane continues to respect Nyssa as his leader and tries to involve Dya in the family. I also like that he won’t hesitate to kill Sanjana’s family if they turn out to be trouble... ;)

The story is well done. I can see why you are so highly recommended. Very well written, though i am confused as to the nicknames. Are they jewish?

I’m getting the strong vibe that Nyssa’s problem with Barsad is sexual. She’s hot for him, and getting him to swear allegiance is the first step in conquering him. Actually, I like Nyssa and I’m rooting for her. For now, Barsad and James must be allowed to grieve.

Bane is dishing out some tough love to Barsad, and Maysam is an even harder ass than Bane. It looks like there will be tough times ahead for Sanjana’s family if they are extracted along with Barsad and James. Already she sees her status as grandmother threatened, even though she isn’t really James’ grandmother. I think Barsad has good reason to suspect Nyssa is behind it.

Nyssa certainly is stirring the pot! I love it. At first I thought she was going to banish Barsad from the League, but now I’m moving away from that thinking because she’s needling Talia on the subject of sexual curiosity for Barsad. She mentions that Barsad is attractive, so now I’m wondering how she will react when she learns Sanjana is gone. Could she be out to seduce Barsad?

Nooooooooooooooo. Sanji? Not Sanji. I can’t.

Barsad is going to go for blood, with Maysam, Bane and Talia right behind him. I hope Nyssa didn’t order the hit. But if she is saying to Bane whatever it is directly involves him, I can’t see it being her unless she’s more wily than Talia could dream to be. Did asshole rapist whomattacked Sanji have sons? Oh my head is WRECKED!

Oh, Sanjana! I didn’t see that coming. I’m so shocked! Now it seems they’re trapped until Barsad’s men can clear the area. What a horrible thing to happen in a place where people are already grieving. I think we need Bane involved to help his brother.

Gotta love Bane enjoying the fact that Talia feels threatened by Nyssa! So proud of him for taking the blame for Barsad’s absence. I’m worried for Barsad, however, I do think he can handle whatever Nyssa throws at him.

The sights and smells of Jaipur are very convincing! Poor little James being exposed to it at such a young age. It sounds like Barsad is about to embark on a mystery or an investigation to find out who killed Sanjana's father, and why. My guess is that Sanjana's father was some sort of a gangster. I love the little anecdote about Henri! :)

I am looking forward to seeing Maysam and Abrams together! They make such a nice couple, I hope the problem of Talia and Nyssa will be solved.

So, Nyssa thinks Barsad and Sanjana are dangerous encumberances? Hmm...
I hope Talia sorts her shizniz out with Nyssa, for everyone's sake.

Maysam has fast become my favourite. I feel like she's my own long lost Jiddah.
