A glorious end of a "season" for a very well created alternative version of the Goblin Slayer Season 1.

You did very well at not making this a story about a new character shoehorned into an existing story like many have; instead you created an alternative with a butterfly effect that not only gave us new fights but allowed for the 1st Episode's characters to get some well deserved existence and interaction with all involved.

Take a bow good writer for you have done very well!

The medal giving's scene was quite touching and it showed how much respects our heroes have for each other perfectly.

That was such a sweet scene of our fire forge couple's bonding.

Our Storm Trooper deserves that kiss in the cheek. (Hopfully next time it will be on the lip's one.)

An action pack chapter that end the Goblin Lord for good. The fight scene was intense and gripping. I like it a lot.

Though it was stess the suspension of disbelief quite a bit for the fact that Stoss had managed to followed Goblin Slayer's trail so fast and without anybody noticed. (Not to mention he's in bad shape himself to begin with.

But, oh well, we need our two heroes in the last fight scene after all.

Not sure how I feel about this fic. On one hand it's a pretty damn good read on another... I am aware Stoss and his country are meant to be a part of this world but the technology disparity between the two places is just too big to be ignored. I mean you just introduced early WW1 Machine Gun to the world locked in the medieval status. It's pretty glaring since it greatly outpaces any other option available in this world. Especially mages. How the heck aren't they made obsolete by now is beyond me. You could argue they have an advantage in power but daily limit is pretty harsh for lower rank mages. Even Silver Rank Mages (and remember they are the strongest ones available in the field) don't seem to break 10 spells. Witch is unknown but Dwarven Shaman seems to be sitting at around 6 spells considering he's usually at 4 left when asked. Golds and Legendary Heroes are exception but welp you know... Gods favorites. It's just slightly jarring especially since Stoss is barely obsidian ranked and already his firepower shoots up by quite a few ranks.

...oh damn. Im not sure GS is gonna be able to kill him.

Another chapter is done and the goblins took great casualties. Now comes the end to another arc of this great tale of survival and goblin slaying.
