Especially since it is the rage of an Earthborn and not Potema.

Anyway.

Gunpowder doesn't necessarily equate the end of monarchy. In that manner correlation does equate causation, but gunpowder was simply one of many reasons it began to collapse.

After all, even today there are still some governments that are powerful or potentially powerful and basically absolute monarchies by any other name. Though it does mean that the image of the warrior queen or king leading from the front becomes rather implausible.

But yes, introducing gunpowder makes the effort to be a powerful monarch rather more difficult than without.

So, it's been quitr while, and I've missed Tala/Potema's pov dearly. hoepfully we can get that next, finally get a look at their plans recently. It's like the past year we may as well have called this the Ebonheart Pact War :P

huh, I'm so happy right now, I actually thought it was abandoned, nevertheless, talas reaction to the muscets was understandable, but not really as bad as she thinks. after all, only Skyrim has access to the muscets.
as for securing the covenant succession, didn't you state that tala, intended to live forever?
However, she might just be pressured into an heir and spare regardless. if so, I can totally see tala, using one of her lord's or their relatives as a plaything and bull

Hm, so Llewellyn and Tala did come to an agreement. Splitting Cyrodiil... that's going to be a low point in the history of a land that has been the center of an Empire for MILLENIA (with short breaks in between). I bet there will be quite a few people who'll be unhappy.

aaahhhhhh you're back! I missed this damn fic so much you have no idea. hopefully we get to see more Tala badassery next chapter. and more Tala/Serana fluff in the future after this war is over.

great chapter as always. the entire time that little sop was going on about his offer to Lewis I was like "don't take it don't take it he's gonna stab you in the back" glad to see he's smart enough to recognize that. I also always love those moments where they reference things that only the other travellers would know about, and how Tala, Lewis, and Sarah have *almost* no beef with each other outside of their respective roles in the world.

You know when tala/potema March into the imperial city they are going see the statues of of previous rulers in the market district one of which is potema's son Uriel the 3rd I wonder if she is gonna notice

I'm assuming by Tribunal you mean, Mephala, Beothia and Azura, because the tribunal is dead. Or more likely in a permanent state of CHIM, if the one story a former bethesda employee wrote is to be the judge of what it means to be a 'living god'
