This is just simple criticism, no flames or anything like that. I genuinely like this story and only what it to be good.

Aiden already called the North, Northrend so it's to late to change it unless you go back and edit the previous chapters.

I like this story, but I feel like the whole Harry Potter being reincarnated plot point is unnecessary. since it so far aside from Aiden knowing some magic and having advanced knowledge, there is nothing from the HP world being used. Runes and apparition (teleportation) are common magic tropes so they don't justify this being a crossover. Its especially bad since you had Death tell Harry that his magic won't work because the wild magic doesn't recognize the spells, writing the possibility of having HP world magic into oblivion. Honestly, if you removed that point and just let Harry use spells for the HP world then most of my issues wouldn't exist.

Either incorporate more HP stuff or remove the unnecessary HP stuff. Seriously you could of had some random guy from our world who just really likes HP end up as Aiden and it would actually make this story better. No Daphne baggage and more possibilities for ways to use the wild magic.

Aiden's relationship with Alys doesn't appear to be a one night stand, if Aiden is proposing a betrothal. Are you going to kill her off? Is Aiden going to cheat on her? And how is he going to have one night stands if he getting married?

So he does keep his memories, they were just sealed, that makes a lot more sense then completely wiping himself. You should've at least hinted at that, saying he will have a guide is nowhere near the same thing as him having all his memories available. Wouldn't of questioned the point of the crossover if that had been explained.

So you did make a OC, so why bother with the Harry Potter stuff anyway?

Getting rid of his memories, which includes his knowledge, wisdom and experiences, is retarded especially after Death basically telling him that Daphne will be reborn in that world.

A person is their memories, no memories means your just someone else so you might as well just had a ghost Harry guide John or an OC.

what is the point of a self insert or a cross over... if there is no memory of the previous world/person. Its pointless.
