Even though it's like the movies, I find myself liking this so much more.

Despite Viggo's determined-unyielding steering of his Defense Strategy, Heather's mockery of an Intern, Snotlout's taunts and other behind-the-scenes spitballing, Hiccup stumbled onto something that Astrid used quite well against a Witness for the Prosecution, to totally shatter a bit of credibility of the Grieving Widow and her Pool Boy...

Loved how Astrid got Enrique to let slip an answer he didn't want to let out in her rapid-fire cross-examination, and that he and Mrs. Bludvist perjured themselves...Kind of rang true to an old 'Bugs Bunny' skit to roll let the Pool Boy discredit himself, his former employer and lose a boyfriend in the process...

Now that Johann is impressed with the 'Junior Members' of Viggo's Team...Hiccup's ruminations about his days of Engineering, may have sparked something that will lead him use his former Field of Study to help find their Client, Not Guilty.

Also, Hiccup's trip down memory lane also revealed to him what he couldn't see in the time since Heather dumped him for someone...'more worthy'...

Yeah, Hiccup is doing so much better by Astrid's side and where he's probably going to have a very successful career...

She should have added some of her makeup to the mortar...it may have made for a stronger barricade...

I'm very glad this story has finally been updated! I've been looking forward to seeing the trial for quite awhile now, and this first part of it is awesome!
