I think Scarease that the reason godzilla hunted the mutos is because their capacity to reproduce in massive numbers and that for godzillas species is not as numerous to counter them. Godzilla probably knew this and sought to end them for they grow to much. All the kajius aren't awake to help control the population.

Like instinctual knowledge that his kind are few so protecting young one is vital to his servival of his species .Plus this shows that they may have more in common with Birds then reptiles or high level of intellect .Plus it might be his offspring ,then fact some dinisours such raptors were pack animals so defend offspring is vital to pack .possible being a more social species then thought of .
Side note I do not see all of Titens have pack mentality much natural world .The Ones I do see as possible social or pack creature like to be Behimath ,Kong ,Kraken ,and few others .Some of them like have alpha for their species flock ,herd ,hive ,pack ,school ,troop or Pod .well other being solitary.

Some only follow alpha of their species or close cousin of their kind .

One thing find strange is that why do Titens fight ?
I understand Muto and With other Titens do that particular breed being Parasitic .
But if Titen survival on Radiation alone then have no real reason to fight each other exept for when Radioation is low ,breeding right among their own ,nesting sights ,and space .

They tunnels or cave system below most be massive to house such creature and provide space to have stable genetic population .Then fact some tunnels and such like move ,shrink ,clapse ,change do earth crust and volcanic movements of planets tectonic plates .

Like Many of Titen follow hybernation cycle or migration cycles when on surface ,in the underworld ,or when awake .This make some sence for such massive creature so that do not over eat resource on top world .So maybe the one on surface with rest of are Top alpha of species having prime realistate of feeding on solar radaition form global warming plus radaition form our bomb testing .It only thing makes sence to me for Titen being so active know consider worlds not that radioactive then was during their time .exept for few radioactive action such as Japan leak ,bombing of Japan ,nuclear testing ,I not sure is good amount of radiation for Titens to stay away for or survive on for long time and maybe do thermal radiation so to global warming .

See Titen having mix diet of bother thermal ,radioactive ,vegetation ,mineral ,toxin ,polution ,and meat to survive .

Question I ask my self is why is Godzilla so dominating and territorial ?
Dominate behavior :
Animals only really are dominating if live in social system such pack .but even then some have slight different pack order .Example wolves lead often by pair of mated alpha's ,well elephant herd is lead by elder female that memorize best migratory route to water and food well males are solitary mostly .Gorilla's have silver back a dominate male that leads the troop protecting them and has breeding right to females unless defeat by other male .Hyena's ruled by females with alpha female as leader and males are submissive to females .Dominates only really plays role in food and breeding rights .often strongest or smartest lead to insure group survives .Mole Rats lead by dominate queen that mother of colony as she bully's her daughter into not being fertile unless she dies .she one birth all children and mate .
Territorial behavior :
Most often in males to ward of other males from females within his turf ,so he see kings to petrol his area to ward of competition of food ,nesting ,and females .females it is not common although thier is ranking system it's often less violent often only for best males ,nesting sites or food .most females just wonder often having smaller range .

How is that all go Titen can communicate with each other ?
Not many animals are known to be able understand each other especial such diverse groups of different animal kingdoms ,species and such .They some I can understand other would completely alien to each other's example arachnid ,insects ,mammals and reptiles all have different body language ,vocals and behaviors .well some would able to especial your smarter Titens .Example Kong and behimath like to able to ,maybe Rodan if have intellect of Parrot ,but other have hard time seeing it .
Why would Godzilla go out of way to fight other Titen unless their threat to him .most of them like would not fight him do living different environments and territories .Godzilla is coastal and ocean dweller so only one I can see fight often with are ocean Titens .
So only thing see is that Titens have more of peace agreement with each other over territory for food .Maybe alliance when dealing with other Titen that threaten their turfs and mutual existence .
Some Titen like be predators to others and normal animals .
Other being herbivores and some being both .
All like have area they call territory unless migrating for food or breeding .
To be able to communicate other species with different language ,grammar ,vocal system and such.
Example Godzilla like uses his glowing Dorsel fins ,body language ,and sonic like whales and dolphins .Well elephant Behimant like totally different vocal ,subsonic ,and body language do being a mammal and not a Reptile .
Only cases I know of cross species communication is between species even then it rare .most odd one think of are Crows and canines .often species most similar in body structure and cousin species .or have symbiotic relationship .

Even if all the Titans were killed, that would mean some people who hate nature (like Donald Trump) will be free to cause enough destruction and chaos around the world until it turns into Mad Max world, where only humans and certain species of animals like roaches, rats, pigeons, and so on exist.

Now it's Ishiro's turn to be the badass parent! Considering Mark still believes the "wolf pack answers to alpha" myth, I'm not surprised he'd automatically assume the worst and think "no good titan! only bad!" Every time he opened his mouth to start another kill-all-titans tirade in KOTM I half-expected Ishiro or Vivienne to call him out on it and say "Oh, yeah? And how do you propose we do that? You must have some idea. Let's hear it!" and then shoot down every suggestion he brings up considering they MUST have heard every possible idea by that point. That would've be so satisfying.

1. Mark, Viv just told you that what croc/gator moms do for their babies. Your knowledge in animal behavior is not as great as it seems.
