Learning to become a family and accept each other for who they are.

The Art of Compromise is strong with this one, HmmMmm. The truth is, Harry is right, we are all animals of one sort or another, it all depends on the way we were raised, as well as the environment it was in too. Demanding him to change his ways was the wrong foot forward, regardless of their motivation, however, Asking him to temper his reactions is another story altogether. Thank You. TTFN

I think James and Lily has more difficulty with accepting him compared to Minerva, because Minerva at least, recognized that she has no claim on his nature. James and Lily still saw him as their young innocent child; still geared on teaching him and affecting his development as a person. But then, they are his parents. I do hope they will learn to accept the current him, and show him their values by example, rather than forcing him to conform.

p.s. Thank you for more glimpse into this story. Love it. Need more glimpses into the current trials and tribulation of one Neville Longbottom, reluctant hero/ celebrity. huhu...

The moment she said 'You aren't an animal, Harry." I responded "Yes, he is. We all are' and then I read 'Yes, I am. We all are." If Harry had been a normal kid, he wouldn't have survived what he had and his parents would still be under the curse. So...he might push the edges of morality but they should be thankful he ended up the way he did. Most importantly, is he happy, safe, and not causing harm to innocent people. If the answer is 'yes' to all of those...hug him and be grateful.

Awww. This is one of my favorite stories of yours, and to see a continuation.

YES! A oneshot/ sequel thingy to The Art of Self-Fashioning! It's really good. Love the way Minerva reacts and acts reluctant, but I think we all know she loves Deimos especially because Harry gave him to her. Good story!

Oh my goddess yes! Yes yes yes! I loved the prequel to this. I'm so happy for any kind of continuation to it. Will you do Lily and/or James next? I really wonder how they're absorbing and adjusting to Harry as he is here.
