I feel that Shino and Tuka’s relationship with Harry is forced because it takes time to develop into something intimate.

The Christmas cake term is incorrect for Shino because she is 24 years old , and very buxom to boot.

You've got your own reasons for it, but I'd have preferred Harry get the elf to himself. Shino seems a bit forced.

I really wish you would continue this story as I rather like it.

you repeted Harry's backstory too much, it makes it appear that you are struck without material and the only worth in harry were his tragedy

there is no point in doing so when it doesn't help character developement and harry is not supposed to dislike attention and pitty

bringing it up too much makes it sound like the only reason he can relate with others is because he had no family, that the only important parts of his life were the tragedies rather than the good times he had with his family and howarts such as his love for Quiditch (or at least Ron's love for quiditch)

on the other hand the pairing with Tuka does make sence, she wants reasurance and harry is the only abaliable translator abaliable to the migthy men in green that can give it... which then follows in Yao

if you ever retake the story just be careful if you ever continue or rewrite the story, important parts of JSDF were:

-the reluctance of Japan to allow anyy other nation to get involved.
-Japanese having no need for 'help' from other nations
-the militar superiority that comes from mass produced weapons of mass destruction when compared with fantay setting
-lack of fantasy developement when compared with earth fantasy
-japan limitations to what they could do as determined by their war treaties with other earth countries.

so giving Harry free reing to do whatever would annoy the the japanesse people "stupid gaijin goes gavilating as a hero while we are working" or something like that
