In regards to the pairing, maybe you could have Sakura? I'm not usually a fan of the pairing , but as you said, there would be the whole opposites attract thing of course depends on how you portray Sakura in this story. If she stays a fangirl here then that pairing would make no sense. You could also make an OC I guess , but that's up to your preference.

Wow. I am very interested to see where this story is going next. Your style of writing is very fluid, as opposed to other authors on this site. You leave room for yourself to change things later on, and drop subtle hints about the direction of the story. I am eagerly looking forward to the next update.

To bad Naruto can’t use the Chakra Chains, I would think that his control with the Nara Clan Shadow Techniques would make it easier for him to manifest the Chains!? Did Minato still place his and Kushina’s Chakras in the Seal as a failsafe!?
