this is probably the best httyd watching fanfic I've ever read plus you did it with the dragons which makes this so much better. PS: are you going to have them react to the series, movies or even the shorts/specials if not that's fine with me.

Ah! This was a wonderful ending to a fantabulous story! Very hilarious to read and it really summed it all up quite nicely. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this and for sharing this with us. This really was fun to read.

If this film was intense to read through the dragons' perspective, I'm terrified about what the sequel and thirdquel for the second and third films are going to look like. O_O

Wow! This was a seriously DEEP chapter. And I mean DEEP! I'm glad that the dragons dived deep in discussion about what most impressed them about Hiccup, as well as discussing about what would've happened if it had been any other dragon. Personally speaking — and forgive me for being ignorant — but I think Hiccup had just as much chance with any of the other dragons as with Toothless. I mean, the only reason why Toothless didn't kill Hiccup was because 1) he couldn't hunt and 2) he couldn't fly. Though, despite this, Toothless still could've killed Hiccup just as easily as the other dragons. Night Furies are said to be aggressive and slow to trust. I can't really say for sure though. But I'll bet you that if Toothless's tail wasn't damaged, there'd be no reason for him to stay around or even to let Hiccup live. But that's just me.

Again, bravo Meatlug for always coming up with these insightful comments! I love her commentary! XD

Again, another insightful chapter. Made me think about Hiccup's bravery and reasons and my respect for him just increased by a truckload. If I was in this story, I'd be the first one dead — or at the very least I wouldn't have lasted long. And I sure as fish eggs wouldn't have wanted to RIDE A DRAGON, on account of me being TERRIFIED of heights. lol XD

First off, I'd like to apologize for not responding to our earlier PMs, and for not reading and reviewing these chapters. I haven't really had a lot of time to read and reply a whole lot. And I haven't been feeling well either. I'm back that I'm back in the groove now, and am returning to catch up on what I've not read.

Concerning the tribe knowing about Hiccup's banishment, I don't think they knew that Stoick unofficially banished/disowned him from the family and from the tribe. For one thing, they weren't there in the Mead Hall, and another, I doubt Stoick said anything about it. But that's just me.

"...And Stoick would've remarried eventually, and produced another heir." - Agreed. That's exactly what my thoughts are concerning what would've happened if Hiccup died. i know a lot of people would be against that, but, truth be told, it's his duty as the Chief to leave behind an heir to succeed him and look after the tribe after his death. He never remarried because he still had Hiccup; if he died, then Stoick would HAVE to remarry and produce another son in order for the tribe to continue with a leader. Snotlout, unlike Snotlout from the books, is not Hiccup's cousin in the films, so he can't be the new heir if Hiccup had died, leaving Stoick to be forced to remarry and produce another son — probably, ironically, someone who is like himself, and a complete opposite of Hiccup. But this is just my thoughts on the matter.

Seeing Toothless deeply affected with this particular scenes were very moving. I felt bad for him. It was also enjoyable to see Toothless act uncannily like Hiccup. lol XD

Again, another chapter full of deep thoughts and perspectives and reasons that I never really thought about. You never cease to amaze me.

Awww, this last chapter just about melted my heart! I myself had never stopped to ask why Hiccup did it all, and the answer was in a word: humbling.

You my friend, have a God-given talent for writing, and it certainly shown thru in this story! You struck the PERFECT balance between humor (all that inixplicable knowledge of different fandoms & the future), philosophy (why people act the way they do & what ifs), and introspection (what was motivating the characters).

Thank you sooo much for sharing! After reading this, I now realize that HTTYD is actually a love story, and you just added a whole other layer of awesomeness to an already delightful series! :D

I've always been curious has to how Hiccup lost his leg, and think this explanation is best: it has the most meaning & makes the most sense.

For the vast majority of people, what Toothless said about people and their deities is spot on. It's really sad when you get down to it.

this was really good! I like how you showed the growth of the characters as they learned more about what was really going on, and this whole story was very well written.
