Things are about to get very interesting.
I feel absolutely no sympathy towards Aleena whatsoever! She deserves what's coming to her. That horrid bitch doesn't deserve to be called a mother.

Although I wonder what Shadow and Sonic's friends would do to his father, Manic & Sonia? Is Sonic's father still even alive at this point? Ooh things are about to escalate very soon.

P.S. Does Sonic see Vanilla as his mother figure?

Ooh, the suspense!

I imagine Sonic confronting his mother in jail with Shadow and the others right behind him. While all of his friends are screaming at Aleena, threatening her for being so cruel towards her own son, Sonic is just standing there with a blank, emotionless, face. He doesn't want Aleena to get killed by his friends, but he does want her to feel the fear he once felt long ago. He lets his friends carry on, before calmly raising a hand to signal them to stop. Then he walks over to his mother in her cell, holds Shadow's hand then says the lines in this chapter.

And all the while, Shadow is glaring with all the fire and fury of hell at Aleena, the woman who doesn't deserve to be called the mother of the hedgehog he loves.

This story makes my blood boil with rage. 11/10 abuse overload.
Is the story over now? It seemed somewhat...resolved at the end of the chapter.

I am really enjoying this story. I'm just sorry that I didn't find it sooner or post a review for it.

Personally, I think Shadow should pay a "visit" to Aleena in jail, and it won't be pleasant - for her! And IF Sonic's brother and sister somehow find him, and come to apologize (or whatever), I can imagine Sonic being highly suspicious and downright hateful towards Manic and Sonia due to their actions. I don't think they deserve to be forgiven so easily. They should EARN Sonic's forgiveness, trust and love after all the hell his family had put him through!

Especially since Sonic's not that scared little hedgehog anymore. That and he has a very loyal, protective boyfriend and equally loyal and protective friends too.

Are you going to bring in Sonia and Manic to try to find Sonic or something?

P.S. Sorry if I am resentful towards Aleena (especially that bitch), Sonic's father and his siblings. But you, my friend, have done a good job to make them the most hated characters in this story. Not even Eggman has been that bad.

I found it adorable that Sonic instantly cuddled against Shadow's chest fur at the end of the chapter. Must be the world's softest pillow?
