I really love this story and how Enishi slowly develops feelings for Kaoru, how I now see him in a different light.

on a 'serious' note, I agree with and am grateful for the break from captive/captor romance while still acknowledging that such situations do lend themselves to "romantic-ish" feelings. To ignore or remove that element would not be accurate because, let's face it, try as we might to be cold and logical, some kind of sentiment will always be there.
anyway, I look forward to such an admirable exploration. kudos

So I was saying I had expected the romance between the two to flourish, but I'm not sure it would have fit into the narrative you had built and the characters as you wrote them. Still, I'm happy with the end result, as you gave them the happiest ending possible, for which I'm glad.

I'm so happy you came back to this for some reconstruction and retouches! That you still love this fandom brings me so much true joy that I don't know entirely what to do with it, hehe.
