There's a reason that it's taboo in transmigration novels to reveal the truth to other characters. It's just so cringe. It's even worse in fanfictions. A pity, this started out really great but this chapter ruined it completely...

i have a theory that seers don't see the future, but predict possibilities of an event happening. by connecting to the lay lines, they can tap tap into magic itself. since magic is everywhere, they can make predictions knowing all possible variables, ie people. they know what the people will likely do under certain circumstances. since that requires a lot of calculations, they need to use magic's resources instead of their brain's. this means that the seer will forget everything related to the calculations to not fill up their memory stores, but they leave behind a prophesy. so basically divination is a mix of high level legimancy to tap into magic's memories, psychology to interpret the people's possible actions, arithmancy for the calculations, and oculomancy to not become brain dead.

Just discovered this story a few days ago - been reading it ever since. Very nicely done!

Disappointed that he's not keeping the advantages of his system to himself, I mean the ULMATs were enough, there really was no need to start sharing his abilities. And don't even get me started on the fact that the mc keeps telling everyone who gets evens mildly suspicious his secrets, like dude there are so many better ways you could have fibbed through that. Smh. Would be great if he stopped spilling his secrets, it just kind of takes away from the immersion, other than that, I'm enjoying everything else.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the story. I hope you plan on continuing it at some point. I was also amazed at just how few reviews there were for something this well written. Anyway, thank you for the story and all the interesting ideas.

Uh oh.. After Ron merged and strengthened his soul, he might have to redo that soul cultivation test. His best match might have changed.

Uh.. After repeatedly talking about the various fanfiction tropes and possibilities, he's blindsided by the fact that Luna could be some sort of powerful seer, or see things she shouldn't be able to? I just can't buy his reaction and disbelief to that.

Not too huge a fan of how much of a puss Ron was, and how quickly he just spilled the beans and rolled over, but oh well.. I suppose they did have him tied up and stuff. I just really hope he doesn't become friends with them.

Interesting take on the mind arts. Never seen legilimency access defined that way before. I bet he could get a lot of points selling one of the umats to the store.
